We understand that everyone’s unique journey to UOW is a little different. Our students bring a range of skills, cultures, strengths and experiences that make our wonderful community what it is – and at UOW we’re always looking for ways to support our incredible students.

We want you to know that UOW is here to support you to ensure a seamless transition into university life.

Throughout Week 1, 3, 6 and 10 of Autumn session we've scheduled a range of sessions (in-person) for you to join.

Each peer-led session is delivered by one of our champion Humanitarian Visa Student Ambassador, and focuses on your experience and is tailored to your needs, with building connections and networks at the centre.

Our sessions will help set you up for success.

By creating connections and generating opportunities its programs, SCARF helps individuals and families to establish a sense of belonging, experience social and economic inclusion, and access the tools for self-empowerment and independence.

SCARF facilitates a range of targeted programs to help refugee entrants to overcome barriers and build a secure, vibrant life in their new home.
