WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Throughout Week 1, 3, 6 and 10 of Autumn session we've scheduled a range of sessions (in-person & online) for you to join.

Each peer-led session is delivered by one of our champion Ambassadors who have succeeded in a similar journey, and focuses on your experience and is tailored to your needs, with building connections and networks at the centre.

We've got you covered with:

  • Insider tips
  • Peer based guidance (academic and outside of your studies)
  • A personalised approach to starting your UOW journey
  • Plus everything in between.

First in Family

Humanitarian Visa

*This program is a bespoke opportunity specifically for students that identify as:

  • First in Family (commencing UOW domestic undergraduate students whose parents or siblings have not already been to University)
  • Mature Age (new UOW domestic undergraduate students who are aged 21 years or older when they commence at University)
  • Holding a Humanitarian Visa (new UOW domestic undergraduate students who currently hold a Humanitarian Visa)

As a UOW student, there is still a range of support and opportunities available to you! To make the most of your time at UOW, drop in and say ‘hi’ to the Student Ambassadors in our new Students’ Hub. They are available to chat Monday to Friday 9am-4pm starting in O-Week – this is your space to ask questions and connect with other students.
