- All current student UOW Amazing Race Teams must have registered prior to the day.
- Team names should not be rude, offensive or disrespectful to others. UOW staff will amend team names that are deemed unsuitable.
- If a team member is sick or absent the team may still race with minimum 2 people or arrange someone to take their team members place. Details of that team member must be provided to staff at registration on the day.
- All teams must present to the registration desk to check in on the day between 12:15pm and 12:30pm to get briefed before the race begins.
- All current student team members need to stay with their team at all times. You may not split up to “divide” race tasks. No other individuals are to join your team and complete your tasks.
- Teams must be courteous and respectful to their teammates and all UOW staff and community. Be mindful that Staff are working and try not to be disruptive.
- If crossing any roads on campus please use caution when crossing the roads and use appropriate pedestrian crossings.
- All tasks must be completed on the provided answer card, any team pictures need to be submitted to staff.
- Teams are to race on campus on foot (no bikes/scooters/cars permitted) in the timeframe provided. Please exercise caution if running, taking care and watching out for others.
- Make sure each team has a mobile phone so they can be contacted in the case of an emergency.
- No littering. Always clean up after yourselves and your teammates.
- Cheaters never win. If anyone on your team cheats or breaks the race rules, the whole team gets disqualified. Remember – it’s just a game! Be kind and have fun :-)
- Judges determinations after the UOW Amazing Race are final – Prize Presentation is at 1:30pm. If you are not able to stay for the prize presentation, winners will be notified by UOW mail.
- By entering this event you agree that UOW may use photographs or video footage taken of yourself during the event for marketing purposes including video production, posting on the UOW website or social media platforms, or for future UOW events.
